RECOM-DC/DC-Wandler – RoHS konforme Produkte
The European Union, through the Directive 2002/95/EC Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), prohibits placing on the EU market new Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) containing more than the permitted levels of six (6) hazardous substances: lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium and both polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants. One variety of PBDE, Decabromodiphenyl ether (DecaBDE), a flame retardant used in a wide variety of polymeric applications (plastics, rubbers, elastomers, coatings, adhesives and sealants) had been exempted from the RoHS Directive. This will change as of July 1st, 2008. All new Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) containing more than 0.1% by weight DecaBDE at the homogeneous material level cannot be placed on the EU market after June 30, 2008. All products that are sold in the EU will have to be certified or recertified as RoHS compliant based on this new requirement. All RECOM products have been certified as being free of DecaBDE. RoHS certificates for any RECOM product are available for download below.
Seit 1.1.2005 wurden unsere Produkte Serie um Serie den Vorschriften der ROHS-Richtlinie (EU-Richtlinie 2002/95/EG ) gemäß umgestellt.

R-78Ax.x-x.xSMD and RCD-24B-0.70/SMD are currently not allowed to be soldered in vapour phase soldering, it is only guaranteed to be safe in IR- or convection-reflow and via manual handsoldering. Reflow conditions should not exceed the limits of the profile below. This applies to product series R-78Ax.x-0.5SMD, R-78Ax.x-1.0SMD and RCD-24B-0.70/SMD only and does not affect any other RECOM products and all conditions are as described in general specs and information above. Details zur Kennzeichnung auf Verpackung und Lieferscheinen
 Unsere RoHS-konforme Ware wird auf allen Belegen (Auftragsbestätigung, Lieferschein und Rechnung) in der Artikelposition mit dem Zusatz "RoHS-konform" bzw. englisch "RoHS-compliant" gekennzeichnet.
Die Wandler selbst sind mit einem Logo als RoHS-konform gekennzeichnet (PB durchgestrichen in einem Kreis). Auch auf der Aussenverpackung (Stange) wird ein entsprechender Aufkleber aufgebracht.
